I can’t believe another year is almost over. Where does the time go? I think as we get older, it goes by faster, or at least that’s how it seems. LOL

Thank you to everyone who wrote a story for this ezine. It means so much to us knowing this is one of the busiest times of year and we still ended up with a nice sized Ezine. The fandom is wonderful for bringing people together during holidays.

I wanted to give a special thank you to Amy for getting back into the art work for the Ezine. She does such great work and we were lost without her for a long while. We are very grateful for all of the work you’ve done.

Our opening cover art is done by Texas Aries and a special thank you to her too, for making the Ezine special.

Thank you once again to all the betas that have made these writers shine. They would be lost without you. What a dreary world without new stories to read each month.

Lisa, we had that little yahoo scare that I thought was going to take everything into January because of my vacation. Thank god, Yahoo came to its senses. LOL Now the show can go on. Thank you for putting up with my little nervous breakdown. I freak out so easily these days. I’ll miss talking to you while I’m gone, but know that I’ll be thinking of your hard work on the Ezine the entire time.

Merry Christmas to everyone and a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

Hugs,

Patt

Has anybody else noticed that Patt is the one with the work ethic? I mean, she's the one who does all the hustling around getting stories and art, and has taken on part of the HTML so it's not all on my shoulders. Meanwhile, I sit back and listen to her bitch and moan at me night after night to hurry up and finish the ezine.

Yes, it's my responsibility. Yes, it does get pushed to my back burner most of the time. Yes, I am irresponsible and childish. :P That's me sticking my tongue out at you. [shrugs shoulders] What can I say, I have no excuse other than to say that real life has been handing me some big piles for the last couple weeks and I'm trying to dig out.

Many, many thanks to all the writers, artist and betas involved in My Mongoose Ezines. We've been doing this for almost 8 years now and been throught a lot of changes in that time. One thing that never changes is how exciting and refreshing it is to discover new authors and artists. We miss the authors that have moved on to other fandoms and interests but we are always moving forward.

We're working towards a great 8th Anniversary Edition. If you'd like to be part of this event, please contact Patt or myself for details.

Thanks,

Lisa
